Entry by booking only!  Please do not turn up without a booking.

By booking with us you agree to comply with the rules and terms and conditions stated below:

 

Arrivals & Departures

  • Please arrive as close as possible to your booking time.  In the event you are early please wait in our waiting area carpark & keep your dog(s) in your vehicle.  Do not enter the field car park until the field & car park are vacant. 
  • When opening the carpark gates to allow entry/exit to your vehicle, please use the chain to tie the gate back to avoid it swinging into your vehicle and causing damage.
  • Please ensure that you close the carpark and pedestrian gates properly behind you when you enter and when you leave the park.  You are responsible for making sure that the gate is secure and that your dog cannot escape.
  • Please ensure your dog(s) are on leads when entering and leaving the field.
  • Please be respectful of other users & depart on time. You have 50 minutes in the park.

 

In the park

  • Dogs should never be left unattended in the field.
  • It is advisable to walk your dog on a leash around the perimeter fence to check its suitability before letting your dog off. (Wild animals and weather conditions can cause damage). If you notice any defects or improvements that are required please get in touch.
  • DO NOT ENTER the Park if your dog or any dog it lives with has suffered or is suffering from any illness or has/had sickness or diarrhoea, cough, vomiting etc in the last 72hrs.
  • All dogs including puppies must be fully immunised before using the field, we also request that worming & tick & flea treatments are up to date.
  • Do not allow your dog to dig holes in the field.  The only area we allow dogs to dig is the sandpit.
  • First Aid kit provided in the shed onsite for dog/human use.

 

Dog waste

  • You are responsible for picking up your dog’s poo.  Our poo policy is that if you see it you should pick it up.
  • We kindly request where possible you take poo away with you when you leave.  Where this is not possible bins have been provided.
  • In the event you forget to take bags with you we have provided some within the park.

  

Equipment

  • You are asked to check all equipment and ensure it is suitable for your individual dog(s) if it is not then please do not use it. Caution must be applied due to differing weather conditions and defects must be reported!
  • Please ensure all equipment is left as you find it, if there is any damage this should be reported.
  • The equipment has been provided for dogs only, please do not allow children or any other members of your party climb on any equipment.
  • Train and encourage you dog to use the equipment in a safe manner, never lift dogs onto the equipment, never force a dog to use equipment if it is not wanting to do so.
  • Some balls and toys have been provided within the park.  These toys have been used by many other dogs so it is up to you if you allow your dog to use these.  Please also asses suitability for your own dogs use.  Return toys to boxes before departure. 
  • Users are welcome to take own toys with them but please take them with you when you leave.

 

Other important stuff

  • Please take all balls and toys that you bring into the field away with you.  If these have been chewed or broken, you must ensure that the field is cleaned up and these are removed. 
  • Please ensure you remove and human or dog food/treats when you leave, some other dogs that use the facilities may have specific allergies.
  • If you are inviting friend or family member it is your responsibility to ensure they have all read and agree to the T&C’s.  In the event you send somebody in place of you, you agree that you assume responsibility for their safety and ensure that they abide by the terms and conditions at all times whilst using the field.
  • Please discourage your dog from making excessive noise whilst on site.
  • No fires onsite.
  • You must be over 18 years of age to book the park and use the park. 
  • Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.
  • Ensure all the dog(s) get along together before letting them off the leads.
  • Appropriate footwear should be worn; the ground is natural, soft, slippery and uneven etc.
  • The park is located in the countryside amongst wild animals & in close proximity to the main road, on occasion it may be visited closely by Highland Cattle & sheep please assess the suitability for your dog(s) needs.
  • We ask all dogs using the park have third party liability insurance/public liability insurance.  This is normally included within pet policies so please check your policy.
  • We will not be held responsible for any injury or illness contracted by any dog or person who uses our field.  You are advised to insure your dog(s) for all eventualities.
  • In the event your dog(s) present symptoms of the conditions previously listed, or any other condition or illness which can or is likely to pose a risk to the health and welfare of any other dogs, field users or staff present then you, your dog and anyone accompanying you, will be asked to leave the field immediately and no monies will be refunded. 
  • We have a natural burn(waterway) running through the park.  You are responsible for deciding whether you allow your dog(s) access to this. In parts this burn is deep depending on the size of the dog.  Please ensure children are supervised at all times.  The water runs through several fields before reaching us and it is likely it is used by livestock and wildlife.  We recommend you do not allow dog(s) to drink this water and fresh drinking water has been provided for this purpose.
  • The maximum number of dogs in the park at any one time should not exceed 8.
  • Bookings must maintain a ratio 4:1 dogs to adult. Professionals please contact us in advance.
  • Smile you are on camera: security cameras are onsite for internal use only.  If you have any queries regarding these please get in touch. 

 

Cancelations & Refunds

  • In the event of extreme weather conditions, we may deem it necessary to cancel your booking.  If this situation arises we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice of cancellation and will endeavour to offer you an alternative date and time if available.
  • Refunds will only be given where Deeside Dog Park has had to cancel the booking.
  • Bookings are non-refundable.
  • You can reschedule your booking online up till 48 hours before your booking time.

 

Dangerous Breeds

You may use the field with an XL Bully or other banned dog breed provided that you comply with the most recent laws at the date & time you are to attend, please see the below liabilities and responsibilities section.  (The laws in this document are current and applicable at the time of compiling this document it is your responsibilityto comply with the most recent laws applied to dangerous breeds)

 

Privacy

  • We use a third party to process booking on our behalf, by booking you agree for us to pass on this information to administer your booking.
  • We will not pass on or sell your information.
  • We will use your information to administrate your booking including your address and contact details. 

 

Liabilities and Responsibilities

You enter the park at your own risk; Deeside Dog Park, its management or staff will not accept any responsibility or liability for the death, injury, illness or drowning of any person or dog, or any damage to any property or vehicles. 

 

Deeside Dog Park accepts no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses or other liability incurred whilst onsite. Yours and your dogs' behaviour and actions are your sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Deeside Dog Park.

 

In the event of extreme weather conditions or advice given by Police Scotland or the Met Office advising people not to travel Deeside Dog Park may deem it necessary to cancel your booking, wherein we will endeavour to provide reasonable notice by email or telephone of cancellation and will endeavour to arrange an alternative date and time if available.  

 

Deeside Dog Park must make you aware that: you are liable for any damage caused inside and outside the park by you, your dog(s) or any part of your party. It is your responsibility to ensure your dog(s) are fully insured for all eventualities.  All dogs must be covered by their own third party insurance/public liability insurance to be able to use the facilities. 

 

Dangerous Dog Act 1991: It a a condition precedent to liability that for any dog which is a banned breed under the dangerous dog act 1991 and/or subsequently amended within the United Kingdom the following guidelines are strictly adhered to:

  • the dog is registered with the Index of Exemption Dog (IED) and a copy of the life certificate is obtained and provided to us in the event of a claim.
  •  A copy of the public liability insurance certificate for the dog is obtained and made available in the event of a claim. 
  • The dog handler ratio is 1:1 at all times. 
  • All guidelines under the IED are strictly adhered to at all times and the dog must be: Neutered, Micro Chipped, 
  • The handler must check the field is secured both around the perimeter fence and the car park area.
  • The car park gate is securely locked while in the area to prevent any public entering (Dog should be on a lead and muzzled in and around public spaces but can be removed once in the park. Extra caution to ensure the park is emptying check the perimeter fencing first). 
  • If the household has more than one dog, they can come to the field together, but the banned breed dog must have its own handler and then another member of the same household needs to be present to supervise the other dogs. If there is more than one banned breed in the house hold they can come together but each dog must have its own handler.
  • Our fences are regularly checked to ensure that they are dog proof but no liability can be accepted irrespective of whether this is a consequence of a defect in the fence or gate or whether we have notified you in advance or not. for any dog that escapes – under, over or through the fence. It is your responsibility to ensure your dog is supervised at all times & to assess the suitability of the fencing for your individual dog(s).

 

You park your car in the car park at your own risk. Deeside Dog Park accepts no liability for any losses or damage suffered whilst using the company’s facilities.

 

Responsibility, Release and our Assumption of Risk: The client acknowledges and confirms that the services offered may be an endeavour in which damage or injury to animal(s) and/or persons may occur. The client assumes full financial responsibility for the actions of their animal(s) and any person(s) in their party within their booking. The clients understand and is aware that the Services described in this Agreement contain inherent risks and dangers which could result in injury, damage or/and death to and/or by the client’s animal(s) which may occur resulting from, but not limited to, the risks of rural settings such as undulating ground, holes, or floods, the hazards of all types of traffic, dangerous dogs and animals, their interactions with people and other animals, dog aggression, dog attacks, injury to animals or people, exposure to areas with novel or unfamiliar stimulus, all types of weather and/or unsafe conditions, the dangers of civil disturbance and the forces of nature. In consideration of, and as part of the recompense for the Services provided herein, I/We the client have and do hereby expressly assume all of the above risks. The terms of this agreement shall serve as the release and express assumption of risk for myself, my animal(s), my guest(s), my heirs, assignees, administrators, executors, and all members of my family, including any minors.

 

You have read and fully understand the provisions and the legal consequences of this release and assumption of risk and I hereby agree to all its conditions, especially noting and agreeing to the release of Deeside Dog Park and all its agents, employees, officers, directors, associates, affiliated companies, subcontractors, and related individuals to the degree permitted by law, from liability for death, injury, harm or damage to or by my animal(s), and you assume all risks thereof and full financial accountability for the actions of you and your animal(s).

Deeside Dog Park may use their discretion to stop and end the contractual arrangements at any time that a pet poses a danger to the safety or health of itself or other dogs, people or employees with immediate effect.

Severability: If any provision of this contract is deemed to be unenforceable for any reason, this will not affect the legitimacy and enforceability of any other provision of this contract.

Either client or Service Provider has the right to terminate this Agreement at any phase by notice to the other. Client accepts that Services will cease upon dissolution of this Agreement. This Agreement supersedes all other arrangements, written or oral, between Client and Service Provider.
